Introduction
SalesWings AI Sales Assistant and Copilot helps you research companies, ask contextual questions, draft outreach, identify next steps, and create Salesforce Tasks without leaving the Salesforce record you are working on.
Your Salesforce administrator must add the component to the relevant record pages and give you access. If you cannot see or use it, contact your Salesforce administrator.
Supported Salesforce records
You can use the AI Sales Assistant and Copilot on:
Accounts
Contacts with a related Account
Leads with a Company value
Opportunities with a related Account
Contacts and Opportunities use their related Account for conversation context.
Start a conversation
Open a supported Salesforce record.
Find SW AI Sales Agent on the page.
Enter your question.
Press Enter or select Chat.
Ask follow-up questions to refine the answer.
Keep the Salesforce record information accurate and review AI-generated content before using it.
Use the action buttons
The following actions are always available:
Account Overview — summarizes the account.
Lookalikes — suggests similar companies.
If your Salesforce org also uses the SalesWings Studio managed package, the following actions are available:
Qualify — suggests how to approach the account using available SalesWings and Salesforce activity.
Next-best To Do — recommends a next step and can create a Salesforce Task.
Draft Email — generates email copy and may open it in your configured email application. It does not create or send a Salesforce email.
Create a Salesforce Task
You can ask the AI Sales Assistant and Copilot to create a follow-up task directly from the conversation.
For example:
“Create a task to call this contact next Tuesday.”
“Remind me to follow up in two days.”
The Task is created immediately when requested. There is no separate confirmation screen.
Review your request before asking the AI Sales Assistant and Copilot to create the Task, then review the resulting Salesforce record.
The Task is assigned to you. Depending on the record you are viewing, it is related to the Account, the Contact and Account, the Lead, or the Opportunity’s related Account.
Copy or listen to an answer
Select Copy to copy an answer.
Use playback to listen to an answer.
When you use playback, the answer text is sent to the configured speech service to generate the audio.
Clear a conversation
Select Clear to delete the current conversation.
If conversations are shared across your Salesforce org, clearing a conversation also clears it for other users.
Clearing a conversation from a Contact or Opportunity can also clear the conversation shown on its related Account.
Data and conversation history
The AI Sales Assistant and Copilot may process:
Salesforce record context selected by your administrator
Questions and other content entered into the conversation
Generated answers
Information required by features such as Qualify, web search, Salesforce Task creation, and audio playback
Do not enter restricted information unless your organization permits the configured services to process it.
For more information, see Terms and data processing.
Conversations are automatically deleted 365 days after the last successfully saved message or action. Simply opening a conversation does not restart this period.
Selecting Clear deletes the conversation earlier.
Your Salesforce administrator also chooses whether conversations are shared across the Salesforce org or separated by individual Salesforce user.
Troubleshooting
A response appears incorrect
Rephrase your question, verify the Salesforce record information, and review the answer before acting on it.
The record needs more information
Ask someone with edit access to add the missing Account Name, related Account, or Lead Company.
The component shows an access warning
Ask your Salesforce administrator to check your permission-set assignment.
The connection is missing or invalid
Ask an administrator to reconnect the Salesforce org under SW AI Sales Agent Settings → Connection.
The model provider did not respond
Try again. If the problem continues, ask an administrator to check the model provider configuration, availability, quota, and credentials.
