This document explains how to install the Outlook Add-in locally into your browser.
The SalesWings Outlook Addin is a powerful way to identify more prospects who engage with your emails and visit your website.
When enabled, the add-in will modify every link in your emails to your website into SalesWings tracking links. That includes links in your signature, or behind text and images. Make sure to add several links to your website in your signature and ideally the text of your email, to increase the chance for the tracking.
Manual Installation of SalesWings custom add-in from a file
1) Download the Add-in file into your hard-disk. You can either find the .XML file at the bottom of this article or open the below URL in your preferred browser to download the add-in file.
2) The correct URL for Outlook for the Web is: https://outlook.office.com/mail/
In your preferred browser, go to https://aka.ms/olksideload. This opens Outlook on the web, then loads the Add-Ins for Outlook dialog after a few seconds.
3) Select My add-ins.
4) In the Custom Addins section, select Add a custom add-in, then choose Add from file.
5) Select the XML file for the add-in that you previously downloaded.
6) Select Open to install the add-in.
6) Log into SalesWings Add-in using your existing SalesWings login details
7. When you want to track an email with SalesWings, go to App>SalesWings>Track.
💡Ask your MS-Administrator to install the add-in via the Admin Center. This way the add-in can be installed for all users at once!
