We do not recommend this article for those of you suffering from Listostigmaphobia, which is the fear of having too many tabs open on your computer at once. Yup, it's a thing.

That being said, people keep websites open in browser tabs when they have the intent to review them later. In some cases, this could be a good buying signal that you want to monitor. You can track when a lead leaves one of your pages open for longer than 10 minutes, and show the event in Saleswings.

Here are the steps to follow.

1) Activate the "Page URL" variable, to use in your GTM tag later

2) Set up a trigger "SW - 10 minutes page visit - trigger", which gets fired when someone keeps your website open in their browser for more than 10 minutes

3) Set up a tag "SW - Custom Event - Browser tab open after 10 minutes"

If you don't already see "SalesWings Custom Event" in your tag type gallery. Simply look for it by clicking on "Discover more tags types in the Community Template Gallery".

You are now ready to set up the tag as below:

We recommend firing this tag on key pages, with a strong buying signal (ie. pricing page).

You can now set up tags in your SalesWings cockpit to start tagging website visitors who triggered that tag. πŸ‘Œ
