Implementing the SalesWings Javascript on Unbounce is easy.
It is the first step to complete before using SalesWings. If you are not a Unbounce administrator, send this guide to your webmaster or IT support person. If they have any questions about the setup process they can contact our Customer Success team at support@saleswingsapp.com
NOTE: There are many ways to implement the SalesWings Javascript on a website, below is a good way of doing it. The important thing is that the SalesWings Javascript appears in the HEAD or FOOTER tag of every page of your website, or centrally for the whole website. Make sure the script is only once, and we recommend the FOOTER for best performance.
Below you will find the step by step guide to install the SalesWings Javascript on Unbounce.
1. From the menu on the left-hand side choose: 1. Settings > 2. Script Manager > 3. Add Script (Big green button on the top left side of the screen).
2. In the pop up box select 'Custom Script' from the drop down menu. Next give the Script a suitable name such as 'SalesWings'.
3. In the Script Details section select 'Head' from the Placement drop down menu and 'All' from the Included on drop down menu. Next paste the Javascript code snippet that you received when creating your SalesWings account in to the box provided as shown below.
(4) Go to your SalesWings account settings, and get the project ID. The project ID (pid) can be found within your tracking script, inside the quotation marks. It's a combination of letters, numbers and characters.
4. Select the domain you would like to enable the script on and then click on 'Save and Publish Script', and congratulations: SalesWings is now implemented on your website
NOTE: If you are a new Unbounce customer and have not yet setup a domain name follow the instructions here before publishing your SalesWings script.
How to test if SalesWings is setup correctly:
Once you implemented the Javascript, visit your website and then reload your SalesWings account. You should now see the Missed Lead count to be at least 1 in your SalesWings list.
