We hope you're keeping well!

It is the first step to do before using SalesWings. If you are not handling your website yourself, send this guide to your webmaster or IT support person, or kindly contact our helpdesk at support@saleswingsapp.com.

NOTE: There are many ways to implement the SalesWings Javascript on a website, below is a good way of doing it. The important thing is that the SalesWings Javascript appears in the HEAD or FOOTER tag of every page of your website, or centrally for the whole website. Make sure the script is only once, and we recommend the FOOTER for best performance.

Here you find all guides to install the Javascript on other website content management systems (CMS).

How to implement the Javascript on my website

If you are using one of the following website CMS systems, we have detailed guides on how to install the Javascript:

> Other guides to install the Javascript

If you are using another content management system (CMS), then do as follows:

(1) If you are not managing your website by yourself, send this guide to your webmaster or IT support person

(4) Go to your SalesWings account settings, and get the project ID. The project ID (pid) can be found within your tracking script, inside the quotation marks. It's a combination of letters, numbers and characters.

(3) Place the Javascript code inside the HEAD or the FOOTER tag of the source code of your website pages.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the Javascript is placed in a central place for the entire website (if possible), or that you place the Javascript on ALL pages where you wish to track your contacts. SalesWings can only track activity on your own website, and only for pages that have the SalesWings Javascript.

(4) To be sure it's working you need to test whether the leads are identified on your website by tracking yourself on your own browser. Follow this guide to test if tracking is working.
